If you are a youth in Weston, in grades 6-12, we invite you to apply for a youth mini-grant of up to $300 for youth-initiated & youth-led projects that further the mission of Weston Youth Services to promote and support the well-being of Weston youth and families.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
Apply for up to $300 to fund youth-initiated and youth-led projects.
THE TIMELINE:
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
Funding decisions will be made within 4-6 weeks of application.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Project must be created and led by Weston youth in grades 6-12 with at least one adult supporter.
- Applicants must be connected to an existing group or club OR have an adult supporter willing to fill out W9 and accept responsibilty for overseeing expenditures.
- All proposals will be considered, with priority to projects with a focus in the following areas:
- Substance use prevention & harm reduction
- Mental health & wellness
- Advocating for positive change in an area where you see change is needed
- Promoting kindness & inclusion
- Anti-racism action
Here’s what you need (also outlined in the application):
- Project Summary: Provide an overall description of your project making sure to answer all the listed questions (keep it less than 1000 words).
- Current Resources & Budget: Let us know how you will spend the funds requested, and what resources you already have.
